Toms New Line

Post by FWLR » Fri Apr 26, 2019 10:33 am

Hi Tom,

Are you going to be doing 45mm now. I was thinking again about sending my "Billy" to you for a check up. I think I have now got enough funds to send it to you. I can wait a bit longer though until you have some sort of a line up and running yourself.

Sorry I can't help on the giving or selling of G45 track.... :(

Hi Rod,

You can send the loco to me, PM with what you need doing. Some of the RWLR remains for the moment so I can test locos.

As for railways, due to my Dad passing recently I don't have the enthusiasm to start anything new. It's affected me more than I thougt it would.

Tom

Sorry to hear your news Tom - I know from losing my own Dad a few years ago, the impact it can have - takes time for things to settle back into anything that feels like normal and in some ways things don't become like they were every again - but you will gain other experiences from going through loss and grieving that add to your personality & character - it was after things settled down for me that I bought my first 16mm items and built my railway knowing its something that Dad would have loved!
Where did I put that uncoupler?

Sorry to hear of your loss Tom. Sadly my father also passed away 2 weeks ago. The world seems a lonelier place now :(

My condolences Paul, I hope he did not suffer.

Thank you GWR. I still find it odd that I have him listed in my contacts on my phone and yet cannot bring myself to remove the entry.
