Re: G&DR

Thanks! - that was exactly what I was looking for. Zecar has been ordered although build up is low down the priority list!

Re:

Hi I was trying to reach this thread - but I'm actually more interested in how you went about getting the Zee Car into a wagon. The whole concept of an inertia wagon is new to me. I'm aware of the SloMo product much much more interested in building a wagon based one. I'm happy to kick this off as a ...

Re: G&DR

I don't seem to be able to get the link to open and a search hasn't turned it up (or I'm not looking for the right thing). I have watched the youtube link, found ZeCar on Amazon and keen to have a go - but not sure where to start. Any advice would be appreciated.

Re: GRS 32mm gauge diesel and tippers

Hi all - thanks for the responses. I am aware of the upgraded motor / gearbox kit on eBay. It also comes with upgraded lights (tbh I'm not that worried about the lights). I'll speak with RCTrains about options for controlling the 12V motor and sound. I understand that it isn't a 'main line' engine, ...

Re: GRS 32mm gauge diesel and tippers

Has anyone had a go at modifying one of these yet? - Converting to RC, fitting a sound module or rechargeable battery for example. I'm going to do something with mine as it is just too slow (I like 'slow' but mine is very slow) - and for me shunting requires a radio. I'd be grateful of any experienc...

Re: SM32 Minimum radius

I'm using quite few of the SM32 "standard" curves - which are 2' 6" radius. I have at least one long arc formed of 5 single lengths (150 degrees) and several other places where two the three lengths are fastened together (60-90 degrees). My Roundhouse 0-4-0 (Jack) goes round without a...

No 71/100 is on the Runnymede Light Railway - He's the normal maroon, not the FR one.

Re: The Runnymede Light Railway

No extensions planned. This is actually a temporary permanent way as the garden will be remodelled in a couple of years time and the current track layout occupies the site of a future building. "Temporary" can have a habit of creeping though!

Re: The Runnymede Light Railway

Thanks Andrew It's not one for switching it on and letting it go - it requires driving the whole way around - which, to be honest was what I wanted. The little diesel will slowly crawl around though - it's top speed is almost backwards! The idea for a balloon came from a visit to Statfold Barn - the...

Here's where it's at. Very rough at the moment but at least things will run around it without falling off!

The Runnymede Light Railway

Hi all, we're new on here and first post. The Runnymede Light Railway is a compact folded double balloon loop design that has been in construction throughout the last few months. Our Roundhouse Jack (King John) making the first full run of the line just yesterday. It's very much a work in progressin...
