Hi Jonathan, I like this coach very much. Interesting use of 3 doors per side on a coach where they saved costs on glass! Maybe it was to get the tops of the wheels up into the body, under the seats? Here is some home movies that indicate they were red oxide in the 1940's.
Go to movie 2, colour starts about halfway through, then you just need to be patient. Not many movies for Darj freight workings.
