Re: Charles - Penrhyn Mainline Hunslet

I'm back on with the project after a few distractions. It's now turn for the smokebox, but before that I needed to increase the wheel recess to keep the appearance in line with the other locos

IP Engineering "Fury"

Has anyone got any pics or more info on the IP Engineering "Fury"? Here's an article I scanned a number of years ago from an even older magazine of my Dad's. The pics didn't scan too well in B&W :D Page 1 IP Engineering 'Fury' Live Diesel Garden Rail 1997 09 49 to 50-1.png Page 2 IP En...

Over the years I have sold off my 3 bought locos. This past weekend my last one went to its new home. The last run I gave it was on the rollers in August 2019

Re: Live steam at a bargain price...?

I'd be happy for PayPal not to refund these greedy folks, they need to learn their lesson That rather misses the point of my post, which was that even if a "purchaser" is refunded, as far as I can see money is still given to the scammers, therefore encouraging more scams to be created. I ...

Re: Live steam at a bargain price...?

... the possibility that I'll have to ask PayPal for my money back is pretty high, but what's life without a little risk? Come to think of it, assuming the money is reclaimed from PayPal, does PayPal take the hit/reclaim the loss from an insurance policy? Or to put it another way, does legitimate b...
