Just thought you may be interested, some houses at £3 each that judging by the photos pass as 16mm.
I'd call in myself but it's about 20 miles to my nearest store.

Rod - I've just noticed that the powder wagon sits quite nicely on a plain Binnie Chassis. Just leave off the pivots and glue in place.
Not what it was designed to do, but with Binnie bolster chassis at 2 for £10 they're simply not worth printing.

As Simon says, the pivots glue on the ends using the raised ridge as a positioning guide. The strips should have stayed attached to the tub, but aren't essential, they just added a bit of riveting detail. The tub then hangs in the supports in place of the 'V' body, so not directly on the plain Binni...

If you ran the wire in a tube you could site the solenoid/servo pretty much anywhere.

I've been using hairspray with a glass bed since I started (it was how the printer came and I've never changed).

Every so often, when it builds up and becomes noticeable on the print, I clean the whole plate with a razor scraper and Iso-propyl, then start building up again.

For general public use I wouldn't buy certificates with expirations greater than 2 years.
A lot of services consider a cert more than 2 years old to be untrusted.

Now that's something that would 3D print nicely. Must look for a suitable local prototype.

I think a lot of the appeal to me is using a limited toolset in ever more creative and imaginative ways.
Hence my comment about Rik's riveting, seeing the result and having to work backwards to determine a method.

Not only can you import STL files into TinkerCad, but also SVG files. SVG files are Scaleable Vector Graphic files, 2 dimensional drawings (but not bitmaps). Not sure how successful it will be with the cylinders outside the frames and the drivers inside, I don't think the marketing department spoke to the technical department when creating the artwork.

I think that comment may be justified if somebody did it in this country.

Another "tip" is to save components as your own shape, and build your own library of commonly used objects like bolt heads, lengths of strapping etc.

You'll find it under the shapes menu at the bottom, and is pretty intuitive to use.
