A couple of questions

Hi a couple of questions i have yet to find a definet answer to: 1. A nice collection of industrial rolling stock. How do you get on running the slate wagons empty? I've got a couple of the Cooper-Craft Ffestiniog Slate Wagons which I'm filling with painted cardboard slate loads but I've found the supplied weights are not heavy enough to keep them on the track when...

Yeah the ffion is a bit bigger than the usual Andel models diesels, it has speed control and a plug to plug in charger to the mains which is handy although after about 4 hours of use it didn't show signs of dieing on me .

A blow down valve would be a useful addition but it would be a bit of a pain fitting it to what ever boiler is fitted to the loco. My mamod is fitted with a copper boiler and the only real place a valve could be fitted is on top of the water gauge which wouldn't really help drain water from the boi...

One has been fitted to my Millie on the bottom of her water gauge and I'd say it's been very useful as I can get reliable readings from the gauge, blow down excess water if I was a bit too enthusiastic when filling her up and draining the boiler at the end of the day is very simple. On the other ha...

If you get something Roundhouse (like a Millie) you can GUARANTEE that it will run perfectly straight out of the box. There are also many bolt on, solder on and glue on parts that you can buy to totally customise your loco. Some are by Roundhouse, some are by others............... You could take a ...
