Hi,

Don't know much about it if I'm honest. I think its a Orion Models one but its been heavily modified. Belongs to another member.

If you want another gauge 1 challenge?

I am after a string of MGR wagons.. ;)

About 17,ought to do it, I reckon!?

Phil.P
If that's a firm I'd order 17, then drop me a message. Cause that number would make perfect sense to do a kit of :)

Re: Gauge One Rolling Stock in 1:32 scale

Thanks for all the comments everyone! Wow! Absolutely stunning. I'd love to see a video of them trundling, or should that be whizzing, round behind a Schools class or similar. Rik Funny you should mention that........ While the 5 Coach compartment coach set were the main runners, the corridor coache...

Re: Gauge One Rolling Stock in 1:32 scale

After another mass painting session, more stock has now been fully finished. https://i.ibb.co/yYFDjfS/IMG-0229.jpg The Maunsell Coaches are now Olive Green which looks absolutely stunning. Although I do think I need some more now as just 4 is a little lonely. Good job I've got some Restriction 1 mau...

Re: My First Aster - A Schools

Does it run better in reverse rather than forward? I ask because many of your pictures show it going tender first. Sadly, it seems a lot of steam engine models run better "the wrong way"! All of my engines run better backwards for some reason. The reason in the earlier images it ran const...

Hi, 20210724_170119.jpg20210724_170119.jpghere are some photos of the one coach i've printed so far. I must now give a shout out to a guy known as Robertino who very kindly posted the files for it on Thingiverse. I had been looking for a coach to print for ages and then found this one, so I'm extre...

June 2021 time! The first open day where the schools truly started to perform like it should with 8 coach running all day. The 33/0 also made its first appearance pulling a 8 coach plus schools test train for the first time. Not the longest its pulled though...... https://i.ibb.co/dKWh2Zk/1.jpg 33/0...

Re: Running at Guildford Model Engineering Society

April and May 2021 are covered together. While the Schools and Shunters saw a lot of running at the April open day, the schools steaming issues were becoming more of a issue and it wasn't until the GMES delayed christmas barbecue in June with another member gave it a MoT completely transforming its ...

Re: Running at Guildford Model Engineering Society

Again due to lockdowns, not much more club running until the end of March when the Schools went down for its Boiler test and some extended running. Again, the issues re steaming weren't quite known at this point with it being suspected to be needing running in. Its only with heavier loads did the is...

Small Jump to December as due to lockdown I wasn't able to get to the club in November. https://i.ibb.co/hXz2kWb/2nd-December-1.jpg Baguley with the then new Thanet stock on its first runs. Probably going to end up repainting the entire set Maunsell Green to match the rest so it doesn't stick out wh...

Re: Running at Guildford Model Engineering Society

September bought yet more shunter running (at the time the only two engines I had) with the rest of the compartment coaches alongside the Push Pull set making its first appearences. The two PDF Models powered shunters proving their strenght and sheer pulling power. https://i.ibb.co/8r1Pxmb/13th-Sept...

Running at Guildford Model Engineering Society

Seeing as there might be a few people that might want to keep posting in here, time for a load of images from my running at GMES! Mainly focusing on steam on Gauge one at first (planning to run 16mm when I'm next down for a change). Starting with the first open day my Gauge one stock ran at in Augus...

The Gauge one Fleet grows

With the schools settling in nicely now its had its seals and wicks dealt with so it actually steams now, it seemed like a good time to take the burden off it. Although these two were ordered before the schools was dealt with as they were planned to do the heavy haulage while the schools had the eas...

Re: Gauge One Motive Power

Safe to say I'm happy with this one! Just need to build a second 33/2, design the 73 and then the fun begins, Hastings Unit....... After that I'll definitely need a break after doing nothing but gauge one for months on end! Nearly run out of room which helps keep things under control! I saw this go...

Bowaters Models - Gauge One

Bowaters Models - Gauge One Range Its about time this post went up. With the personal side of the gauge one project approaching its end, (1 loco, 1 DEMU and 3 coach sets left), time to put this up. From the very second I posted my then very much at the time personal Gauge one wagons to run at the l...

Re: Gauge One Motive Power

The 33/2 now has a twin. The 33/0 now exists with Fosworks bogies this time and the change is remarkable. Plenty of power and a lot quieter! Good job I've standardised on them now isn't it! Fortunately, I've sold the old 33/2 to a friend so that can be replaced with another fosworks powered one. Con...

I’ve been unreasonably rude about 33s elsewhere on this forum (and to anybody else within earshot probably) but — Hell — I want one of those! Please can you print me one out at 1:26?! Thank you. Fantastic. Oh it can be arranged....... Relatively easily. Drop me a message and I'll see what I can do!...

Re: My First Aster - A Schools

Having finally got some more running out of it, I'm slowly learning how to work it. Although more practise is needed to get the fire being drawn without the blower on. I suspect I need a heavier load (7 plus coaches) to get it properly working. Hopefully a week today I can see if that thoery works. ...
