Dave. Still resolutely sticking with Windows 7! Hi Dave. Whilst I agree and understand your reasons for your actions, there will be a time that Windows 7 will be removed from support and it will have more security holes than Windows 3.1 . ;) It is for this reason that I went with Windows 10 instant...

Very inspiring indeed, great start to a garden railway, it almost gives me the intensive to start mine this year, so much planning to do before doing anything though :(

Thank you for all the kind comments, it just needs dirtying up a bit now to make it look a little better, lol ;) I decided not to put on all the dressing kit accessories on it as I thought there were just a little too many, so its got some, but not all.

Well here is the completed loco, everything working, charging jack checked out and working, all directions ok, all lights ok, very happy with it. These pictures don't do it justice as I believe it looks much better in the flesh, so to speak :) http://i617.photobucket.com/albums/tt253/stevesuzi/IMAG0...

Pictures to come soon, but most of the above is now all done. Wiring was a handful with 2 LED's to put in with 3 wires to each one, that along with 3 to the switch, 2 to the charge socket, plus of course the usual motor, battery etc, plus I have put everything except the rear LED on easily removable...

Well it's slowly coming together. I had an issue with the RX and this was sent back to Deltang and reflashed so its all working as it should do now. I am just in the process of sorting out all the wiring as it needs a switch, charging jack, battery, motor front dual LED and rear dual LED all sorting...

Is this any clearer, as I said, terrible pictures. ON the bit that comes out, at the bottom, there are just 2 screws part screwed in, heads cut off, and they are just used as locators for putting it into place, at the top, just a drop in screw. I use these for up to 0-6-0 live steam, very strong, lo...

I can appreciate the display case aspect, but how do you access the loco inside, from what I can see from the images you kindly posted,  you need to remove the Perspex front  each time? No sorry, crap pictures. One end has a drop in screw from the top that stops the side falling off, pull that out ...

Its worth considering these type of boxes as they make great display cases too, as I said, very easy to make.

I feel a visit to B&Q coming on  LOL This is a box I made for a friend of mine a short while ago. 4 bits of MDF, a bit of clear polystyene, one bit of hardboard, some screws and a small knob, so to speak, lol. Oh and a form of handle. Very simple, yet very effective. http://www.16mmforum.co.uk/...

Does not make business sense to ignore potential customers, while I could probably find an alternative solution for the box, I do need some rolling road units (Hog Hill) which they now own. I never expect a next day service from cottage industries but IF they are simply ignoring me I am reluctant t...

Well after hearing that, not only wouldn't it be a surprise if they did go under, but also understandable, that's majorly disgusting. Personally never had any dealings with them all all, spoke to him once at a show and he just seemed a little up himself, but thought no more of it as I never judge pe...

That stuff looks brilliant, a couple of fantastic uses of application there too. Might have to have a further look into that stuff myself. :)

Excellent, glad to know your postage rates, but if I can be perfectly honest with you, I think they are too cheap and you need to charge more, not often you will hear a customer say that is it, lol ;) . If the actual postage charge is £1.84, you will also be using envelopes or boxes as well as fuel ...

Rik

Do you now have the RX65's in stock as David says he now has loads of these but is pointing us at you in the first instance to buy them?

If the answer to this is yes, can you let me know the P&P charges on one please.

Cheers
Steve

I can vouch for Rik's support already, having been in communication with him regarding Deltang equipment and he has always been super helpful, I mean beyond normal, if support is needed then I am sure he will always lend a hand. Couple of points, which sound cards will you be selling, pure curiosity...
