Their appears to be 2 main types of filler push on and less common screw on adaptor. I have both , one is roundhouse and the other one is Chuffed2Bits. Happy Birthday young man, I am older than you at 66 but I retired about 7 years ago, love the loco you will find it great fun to run live steam, Don't burn the shed down.

I believe it opens at a different rate to allow it to be fully open as it moves further than R/C can move it with the Manuel regulator. You can try it first and if you don't like it change the regulator.

He makes transfers on request.
