Lovely thank you so much for that ill have a go at starting one of my own tomorrow and will post my results Ill keep a lookout for those but ive just noticed that these dimensions are similar to some South Australian Railways drawings I have so I might just Victorianise them a little I have both ars...

Is there any chance you could tell me the rough dimensions for the width and height on that great guards van behind your carriage? I'm trying to model a similar theme but i havent been able to find any drawings of Powelltowns larger wagons or of any Irish prototypes

Another positive of modelling in 16mm scale is you can still use those Doll house models as long as you put them in the background. 45mm also ensures that you can go to others lines in NZ
