Bullion Wagons

As the current vile weather has put a stop to construction of the PMR and a spot of bad heath has slowed all my modelling down to a virtual standstill. I have spent a bit of time thinking about the line and in particular what a narrow gauge line in this area would have been built to carry. Stone is ...

Looks like a nice job you have done there.
I agree with Brian, try the Virtual MOTY competition.

You will never win an argument with anything that bleeds for 7 days out of the month and doesn't die!!!!!

(Possibly a bit too rude but what the heck, its 3am Welsh time and the current wife is keeping the county awake with her prize winning snoring)

My thought would be as basic as possible with additional option packs available for the buyer to do what they like with.

Don't get many sales calls since we signed up to the TPS (telephone preference service). However replying in Welsh or Latin tends to put them off their stroke a bit  Asking them to hang on while you go and have a brew can be quite amusing too. Slighty OT but my brother worked for Citibank a few...

Another blonde joke. A blonde walks into Dixons and asks to buy a television she has seen in the window. The salesman says "Sorry we don't serve blondes here, clear off" The blonde goes home and dyes her hair black and returns to Dixons. "I want to buy that telly you have in the windo...

Coupling height.

This is probably a question that falls into the bloody stupid category. I have a pair of van kits that came without running gear. After much messing around with various sized wheels and W irons I want to fit Cambrian WLR ones with the recommended 24mm wheels as these seem to look right, any thing sm...

I do enjoy idiot bashing but frankly the best thing to do with these burks is to ignore/report them. You tend to find that people like that don't have the bottle to tackle someone face to face, they have to hide behind a wall to do it. I have dealt with this previous jobs, some one will be happy to ...

There have been a few examples of 16mm locos built on the Burton Jinty Chassis that was a single cylinder Slip/E loco. I think Colin Binnie may have made one. I have a Burton Jinty that I think might end up bashed as the body is in very poor shape. As others have said Stuart Brown at Archangel made ...

Southwold or Blyth would be on my wish list, can't see it somehow.
If they did, I would be forced to change to 45mm gauge and start all over again. Plus sell the wife and send my son down the mines to fund it.

Good Luck with the move, I don't envy you at all. I have still got boxes sealed up that I filled when I moved 20 years ago, or four houses ago!

Oooh I know that one.
Worse than hard drugs. If you are like me you end up with a fair bit of motive power and almost nothing to pull behind it.
Still its all down to the individual. Its your money do with it as you will.
