Re: The Potters Orchid Railway
I did start to watch this earlier, but had to go out, just finished watching now and it's a brilliantly shot video. Some interesting rolling stock also. Did I spot two figures stood by that building who look suspiciously like you and MAM Dazza.... I will tell Tom that you liked he his vid...

Re: The Potters Orchid Railway
An absolute cavalcade of locos and stock! Some really impressive slow running, though I think the livestock needed to be rounded up and penned. ..... Rik Typical Queensland, unfenced and live stock getting in the way. "Slomo" goodness is the key to the realistic running with out res...

Gladdies, Captain Plod and MAM and fellow "Foamers and Dribblers" (Gricers) just knocked over a weekend of "When too much steam is just not enough" . 12 stayed over night, over 20 for the pizza feast. Running until Saturday midnight. (Bravo SLR Lamps)Beer and of course wine and ...

Cactus topple, I have no idea but what you do is what I have done with some. Prop them up with a rock. They fall over and then send roots down. One could try and grow a muted sculpture cactus, but you need a bigger pot. In two weeks we have an invite weekend, stay tune for pics and videos. I though...

Did a wee walk video, my first and only attempt . It was at the end of the day, one glass of red in hand and chatted some drivel.

I trust the firefighting speeder is following, with that glowing open ashpan?
The workshop has been booked to attend to that ashpan problem with the summer high danger fire season nearly upon us.

When I got there I bought a Tweed cap from the shop near Britannia bridge just for this. This was my third trainee trip firing a Garratt. I got to fire all three serviceable Garratts. I am back next year for 5 weeks to give passing out on the WHR a serious nudge. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L-_...

I love the lining. Your own work? Sorry if I missed an earlier post where this is explained. Rik Factory paint. (Chinese ? ) Captain Plod has a new appreciation of Accucraft quality and the paint work is marvelous, better than some outside paid for paintwork and lining jobs. Makes Roundhouse paint ...

Re: The Potters Orchid Railway
Were there 2 snakes? The last 2 pictures look like a red belly black snake, if it is that would have made putting your hand into the tunnel to fix a derailment very interesting. One snake, Plod has confirmed it is a "Crown Snake" they can have red tones on their belly and some times very ...

Re: The Potters Orchid Railway
Saturday afternoon Captain Plod with a glass of Red in hand was testing MAM's Cranmore with it's recently fitted RC to the regulator. The loco had been running for a while (40 -43min run times) then for the first time there was a derailment in the Orchid House tunnel. Whiskey Tango Foxtrot! Launch ...

Plod was on the right track but his inspiration and direction was confirmed when MAM found photos of some one else who had done similar. https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/53150713367_04a11cafde_b.jpg https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/53151492439_6de3a216f5_b.jpg https://live.staticflickr.com/65...
