Hi Rik, It is bad practice to resize images the way you describe because browsers still have to load the full size image and then process it to the desired dimensions resulting in slower load times, using more bandwidth and can lead to displaying a poorer quality image than the original. You can sig...

This is the part of the track being removed as I forgot to take a picture earlier showing this: /myff/tom_tom_go/DSCN2713_zpsrmai8aoy.jpg You can see this part of the railway dominates the garden which is not what I want. I believe when you look at a garden you should notice the garden first and the...

I have been unhappy with the railway for some time now because of it's position in the garden.   Since my partner was made redundant she has been able to take the lead in gardening duties and I have seen that the railway is blocking plant and vegetable growth particularly where the loop nearest the ...

Bit late replying to this one, however, surely it is a replica model pipe as smoked by the fisherman dude in the game Monkey Island II and all the other pictures are just 'red herrings'? ;) ./myff/1904873/19820248849_dffd4fe216_k.jpg http://lh5.ggpht.com/_dGfJJkZMm1M/S31NLTn-QjI/AAAAAAAAAyQ/YOuUSp2M...

Thanks for the responses. There are plenty of cheap one's on eBay that are Butane fired and self lighting, this looks good: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/271906817752?_trksid=p2060353.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT But I think for small items or soldering brass pieces on top of each other...

Mini blow torch

I am building a 7/8ths body kit from brass but am finding my large blow torch does not allow me to direct heat exactly where I want it so I was wondering if you guys have any recommendations for mini blow torches?

The price/range is quite large, you can even buy pencil type torches now.

You should be able to turn the controller off once the loco speed/direction is set and it will remember these settings until you turn the controller back on?

I remove the springs from my R/C controllers so take yours apart and have a look.

They are 45mm stock and my line is 32mm so that is why they look like they have de-railed.

I am happy with the coach given what I paid for it as the prices for 16mm are creeping up (Accucraft rolling stock prices are ridiculous these days).

Hi,

I know these receivers work with Spektrum transmitters but can they also be used by the Ripmax Saturn range?

Thanks,

Hi Ben,

You will not regret abandoning the ground line idea. A raised line is easier on the back and knees no matter what age you are.

If you are going for Peco set track curves use the larger offerings, bigger radius the better.
