I think: Nice chassis, shame about the body.

Not wishing to denigate your skills Jim, but those look very nice but horribly complicated curves to duplicate and keep even. It would be a cryin shame to end up spoiling what you've already achieved. I'd say the KISS princple applies here (Keep It Simple S.....)

Only real problem with that is the presenter, I can't stand Dick Strawbridge, in fact I'd rather have Julie Walters!
Mind you, the programe concept sounds a wee bit pointess as well.

Just a thought, they might look better if the body mouldings were cotinued across the door? Possibly just the lower one?

Primer does show up a lot of dodgy detail that you didn't realise was there so it remains to be seen if it's worth it, but with that proviso I say keep the louvres.

That is a good idea. Not only does it give the wood a bit of protection but it also looks more like ballast than wood does, and if you do add proper ballast you have a rough surface for it to stick to.

They have whatever you want to put on it. Its your loco, your railway, you say what goes.
Hwever if it was mine I'd probably have the name or initials of the railway on the tende,r and the loco's fleet number on the cabside.
