Re: TVT - Start of Steam Operation
Those tippers look fantastic Graeme as does that converted steam tram. Are there any books that you know of detailing the state board of works projects and their railways? I've been looking for photos of the Perrys and the Malcolm Moores pre conversion but they're very thin on the ground. Hopefully ...

Re: North East Victoria Railway

Re: North East Victoria Railway
Time for another update: When I started in G scale back in 2012 I had a dream of a nice long sprawling yard with lots of shunting and operating opportunities but unfortunately being only 14 at the time I didn't really have the skills or the money to make that a reality. Now that I'm older its a bit ...

Looks great Graeme! one thing that particularly caught my eye is that air compressor, it looks superb, did you build it yourself or is it an off the shelf item?

Looks fantastic. its amazing how much some paint can transform a model. Only thing I'd note is that it looks far too good!

Re: Internet "forums" are a thing of the past
All this talk is quite interesting to me because I think theres a lot of different variables at play, more then just "young people dont play trains anymore" its often hard to find space or money to chase this hobby. I know certainly a lot of my friends interested in the hobby simply just g...

That came together quick! Looking Excellent Rick, there is something about the crispness of brass thats often impossible to obtain with other modelling materials. You are of course right Graeme, I haven't got any contacts at Daylesford so I wont be making the trek up there just for that, ill put a 6...

Re: CDR Railcar No. 10
Looks like a pretty serious bit of kit! I cant wait to see how you go about Putting it together its going to be a heavy beastie. Do you have any idea about what kind of motor was in number 10? I'll probably end up drawing a motor for my Walker, that had a 6LW Gardener in it. Only drama is I only hav...
