Re: Liveries

I seem to have a bit of a corporate livery. It just happened for some strange reason. Most of my coaching stock is dark green with black roofs and framing detail. Most wagons are red oxide and black. Diesel locos are dark blue with wasp stripes. None of the steamers are the same but I do have a lik...

Liveries

Hello Folks, I was wondering if you'd be willing to share examples of your coach and locomotive liveries, if you're line has a "corporate" colour scheme as it were. I'm thinking of going Oxford blue for my locomotives and not sure what coach livery would work with that - some examples of w...

Re: Bowaters Models - 16mm Rolling Stock Kits

Are there any photographs of painted and completed FR coaches? Quite like the look of them.

Really interested in the C&U coaches, shall watch with interest!

Thanks

Took it apart today again and realised there are another 5 behind - sorry!

The charger I recommended will work but you will need to change the jack to 2.1mm or use chocblock, etc.

Have you tried the loco out as 7.2v is quite low for a loco that size?
No not yet - waiting on a new transmitter to arrive

I think there are only 6 Tom - to be fair I didn't manage to get a good look.

Charger Advice

Hello Folks, I'm finally the proud owner of an Accucraft Baguley Drewry, but the battery charging arrangement slightly confuses me. It didn't come with a charger when it arrived, but it looks like they're rechargeable AAs, and the seller used a Gamma AC/DC peak detect charger to charge it, viable a ...

For SpudUK I have put up photos of the converted stock, but basically I take the Accucraft copper, remove the buffer from the square holding and then drill a hole in the 'tongue' of the Newqida bogie which holds the buckeye couplers. I then sit the Accucraft buffer ontop, thread the bolt through an...

I had a crack at this and never managed to get the Accucraft choppers to sit properly, can I get a close up of them?

Also, how did you get a good clean line for the chocolate and cream around the mouldings on the end of the coaches?
