Re: HGLW
I have found HGLW (David) very good to deal with. There have been times when things have gone astray with me too, but David has replaced them and I must say he is most helpful when ever I have asked for his advice, even to the point on recommending another supplier for something else.

For the life of my Andrew I don’t know how I missed your thread…That’s a fantastic build and a simply brilliant idea  Have you got any further with it. It would be great if you have Andrew. Lets see some more please…. I know just like other members, that ideas and other stuff get in the way to...

Re: NEW FWLR LINE
Finished the bridge…It needs a load of fettling done with it. All the top struts and the two long top rails need replacing because they were too rotten to try and fill. Did a bit of filling though on the angled struts, they seem to be ok. The paint work before was a light coffee colour, so I used th...

Re: Great Model Railway Challenge - Ch5 tonight
There was a bit of controversy Rik wasn’t there, with those guys who thought they were going to win even before the judging started. We didn’t like them very much, Missiden, I think they are called, you know the ones who can’t count, 10 pre-built items instead of 6. The captain was almost crying wit...

Re: Great Model Railway Challenge - Ch5 tonight
I am sorry I didn’t Tom, will go back onto catch up and look again.
That tall guy, Tim Shaw I think is his name does irritate a lot. He was even worse on that car show make over program, a bit like pimp my ride, but it does at least restore the cars. But that guy is the most irritating for me.

Re: Coach Paint schemes for the WLR
I think I am the only one that liked “B” in your first post, I think a change from the norm is fine. Your second post do look alright and I would go with coach “F”. Don’t forget, it’s your line and rolling stock. Peter Butlers tip on doing the overlays first is a great way of not getting over runs o...

Utter cow dung….. Just like all the small gauge shows I used to go to, everybody criticising everyone else for doing this and that wrong….. So glad I am now in a far better and friendlier scale…. Long Live 16mm…………. Why don’t the program makers do a reality show on 16mm, then we could show...

Re: TVT - First Turnout Completed
One thing though, I have counted 5. Did you already have one made before mate. If you read the first post in the thread, the Y turnout was built first as a test, to determine if the methods I used in HO could be scaled up to Fn3 scale. It was successful, so the others were built as a batch some mon...
