Might be tricky, Rod. The number of teeth together with the diameter might enable someone to work out the module or pitch of the gear. You would be better going back to the manufacturer of the loco to see if they can offer you a replacement

Re: Palmerston - Small England Loco as built
I was going to comment on its hauling capabilities. Really surprising you've not had to add additional ballast. Is it a 6v or a 12v motor?

Re: Building an 0-4-0 outside frame tank loco
The lining certainly helps relieve the slablike nature of the side tanks. Not a modelling issue, just a feature of the prototype.

Re: Track compatibility question
Good morning! I'm a newby to Garden Railroading and am currently compiling track to begin my layout. Is the American Mainline G202-01 Code 332 Brass 6' Flex Track compatible with LGB 10600 track? Thank you for your time and help. Sincerely, Ken I would be very surprised if it wasn't. LGB uses Code ...

Re: Cheapo diesel sound card
I must say that Andy has been very clever in finding a way to put the Rx into programming mode. As well as the Deltang method, the MR603 can go into program mode by tapping in SOS in morse code on the bind button.
Clever chap!

Re: HGLW loco tweak
Here I thought it was ready to run out of the box :confused2: and you've gone and created something completely PLR out of it! Is that named after the same James from your India trip? For a special occasion you could paint the loco to match his fetching Tibetan jacket! Good choice on...

Re: Cheapo diesel sound card
Is the limited range because you are not using the full-range of the control when actually driving a loco? On the bench, you can 'wang' (technical term) the control over the full-range, whereas we tend to be a little more restrained, when actually driving. Phil.P I did wonder that as well, but I 'w...

Re: Cheapo diesel sound card
I've installed the card into my HGLW loco and linked it to the servo output from the Deltang Rx65c. But as you can see, there is very little variation in the rise and fall of the engine note. I've found this before with the Rx65. Whilst the servo output from the Rx65 is fine when bench-tested, as so...

Re: HGLW loco tweak
The AliExpress soundcard has been added and linked to the servo output on the Deltang Rx65c card. However, as you can see, there is very little variation in the engine note. I'll explore whether I can tweak the servo output range from the card to give greater variation. https://youtu.be/IYAk6RO3ojk ...

Clever idea for mounting the Nano with its usb port accessible. It will save you a lot of time and effort when tinkering with the programming.

Re: Cheapo diesel sound card
There is a bug in the 'A' & 'B' servo code.. Changes / fixes were thick and fast, in those early days. We are now up to v1. 7* on the firmware, have gone through a number of different processors, and now have a totally in-house Micron solution. *As of when I last checked! Phil.P That's reassuri...

Re: Cheapo diesel sound card
Hi I've received my sound modules and tried programming P3 to servo on my MR603a. There's nothing written on any of the chips so I assume it's one of the first batch of Rxs which Andy released. I've programmed the Rx to provide servo output on P3 following Ch1. However, I can't get the sound module ...

Are you going for 45mm gauge with this track?
EDIT: Sorry, just realised the inner groove on the roller gauges is for the check/wing rails.
