I'd be seriously tempted into live steam by a vertical boilered loco. What sort of running time do you get from a fill of gas and water? The other loco is just about perfect, check out this video of Rubeus, so sedate: Best wishes, Dave Get thee behind me ......... That video really is putting tempt...

I have always loved the Southwold (3') and the Llanfair and Welshpool (2' 6") - and so 45mm (at around 2' 9" in 16mm scale) seemed like the ideal compromise. Some of my models are 15mm/foot and some are 16mm/foot - but they seem quite happy to be seen together on the same tracks. My scale ...

Hi Folks Will let you know as soon as stocks are replenished. In my last correspondence with David (on 7/1/16) he indicated it could be a few weeks before he can meet my order. If you are in urgent need, it might be that some of the other suppliers listed on his website have reserve stocks. However,...

Rik Do you now have the RX65's in stock as David says he now has loads of these but is pointing us at you in the first instance to buy them? If the answer to this is yes, can you let me know the P&P charges on one please. Cheers Steve That''s interesting. I've tried ordering more stocks from Da...

This is not meant as the blatant ad it may appear but I started the way you have using the paypal buttons, very nice site you've built by the way, but soon found that its better to have a proper ecommerce site which generates invoices and keeps records of sales etc in a user friendly way. If you lo...

Result!!!!!   I don't know where to begin....  the Rx has been installed in two of my locos to test the effectiveness of different component motors and batteries in the system.   The control over these locos is just amazing, particularly for their slow running.  The 'inertia' control is something I...

Good luck with the new venture. It looks like you are off to a good start with a very nice website. I have a fair amount of experience running a small business and it can be very rewarding. If you ever find you need an online shop with more features, I can recommend EKM Powershop. I have used them ...

You may have noticed that David at Deltang is now no longer selling 'finished' transmitters - he's just selling the kit versions. After some discussion with him, I've now set up my own little company, marketing Deltang gear and my own slightly enhanced versions. At the moment, I'm focusing on the Tx...

That sounds reassuring. My laptop is a bit aged but runs W7 OK. My usual mantra is 'If it ain't broke ....' but I'll do a bit more investigating before taking the plunge. I hadn't realised the installation could be reversed.

Windows 10 - Any experiences or thought??

I've noticed a couple of people recently have mentioned they've installed Windows 10 (eg Annie). I keep getting pestered by my computer to install it but I;ve been putting it off as I worry that some of my more obscure software may not run on it. Has anyone installed it? Have there been horror stori...
