Ideas on Silver Lady mods

Hi all. I've had my Lady since 2007, and it's a beautiful thing (as are all Lady Annes these days), but now that my Katie has been completely rebuilt, it looks odd compared to them... Any ideas for mods anyone? :) ./myff/1310311/LVLR_2008_Forest_Lady_halt.jpg In 2008, as the "new engine" a...

Corris Railway liveries

Does anyone know the actual original colours of the carriages, brakevan and Corris Railway waggons (not private ones)? The Talyllyn and Corris carriages currently being used are apparently in original livery (brown), but the Theodore Press drawings book states that it is deep maroon. The same with t...

That particular locomotive would be a "Climax", would it not? It's a difficult engine to categorise into a specific "type". ./myff/1290507/vulcan.gif (http://users.powernet.co.uk/hamilton/) It's based on 1 of 5 proposed Garratt types for the Rimutaka Incline in New Zealand. The ...

Baby Garratt

My tiny Garratt, made by my dad when I was 7, was repaired yesturday after a long term chassis and linkage problem (crank pins coming loose ect...). When there was a break in the weather today, she came out for a test run after new crank pins had been fitted, she now runs well and after a year of ab...

Mountaineer looks LOVELY! I have to admit, I wasn't expecting the "Beast" (FR term) to be made by Roundhouse, but a lovely model nether the less. :)
Charles looks ALOT better, I'm sure Roundhouse will make less of a loss by only making 1 configuration. :)
