Where are those boiler bands on roundhouses website ace? I can't seem to find them

Also what is the width of those boiler bands?

Is that a resonator next to the whistle in the cab?

I have one and they are excellent quality but the rubber o rings for the fittings were fitted to mine were too soft so I just fitted instead some fibre o rings, easy fix.

I'm in the same boat jack, my main concerns are the burner (how reliable is it?), the lubricator and the pulling power of the loco...

What are the pro's and cons of the mk2 loco? I have heard mixed comments about these simple little Loco's and have been considering getting one perhaps next year or the Thomas Telford loco.

Any info would be greatly received.

Could you not fit a sleeve to the standard roundhouse cylinder reducing its bore?
