Nature, and physics, will always win..
I think you should let the platform have room to 'breath', as once we get some proper sun, I think it will damage itself?
Is there a thin surface, to the platform, or is it 'solid' plastics?

Re: Cheapo diesel sound card
I will update when I have done more searching.. Yes, it is that one, and the module looks similar to something else I was investigating. If I can get something that can stop /start, and give a horn, that I can make a profit on with a retail of £20-25 I think I will progress it further.. We have a nu...

Re: Cheapo diesel sound card
No Steve, don't go to the trouble of sending one.. A video on one of the listings, does show a couple of different speakers being used and the difference in 'tone' is very marked. I think I might have found one that is silent until you Twitch the speed from zero, and will shutoff if the Speed is zer...

Re: Cheapo diesel sound card
Does this card need a slight tweak (from stop) for it to start making a noise, and does it 'switch off' if you are stationary for 20-30 seconds?
Glad you are sorted.

Re: Cheapo diesel sound card
Tested with a 603b1 board, but with RC Trains configurations... Works as documented. I have asked the question of Andy, but I can't see this mentioned in our conversations when I tested early releases.. I will report back what Andy says, but this is: 1. A 'feature' of this early board. - most likely...

Re: Cheapo diesel sound card
How 'early' is your board?
There were 'features' in the early iterations..
Can you post answers to the questions in the last post of page one, please?

Well it works on a standard RX setup, sorry about the out of focus video  Next thing is getting a servo output on a Micron RX603. https://youtu.be/LJEvQfX2eZU Well, I need to talk to you about a soundcard, so I can give you instructions on how to configure a spare 'P' output to be a servo, as...

Do you think that it may have had the original paintwork stripped?

Re: IP Engineering Wickham trolley
I won't be fitting it, and I don't condone Lithium cells in holders. - Properly tagged/welded packs please. I am guessing the customer already has NiMH batteries, and charger. I always try to suggest a solution that works with what the customer already knows and loves.. Case in point: I have a LGB l...

Re: IP Engineering Wickham trolley
Thanks for that..
I have had a query about fitting RC, and the customer is talking about swapping the motor, and using a PP3 battery..
I am wondering if a 3-cell AAA holder will fit, in place of the 2-cell?

Does anyone have one of these?
If so, could you post photo(s) of the underside, and give me an idea of the space available for batteries etc.
Many thanks,

A blackout light, might have been less confusing to returning planes, perhaps?
I was going to say 'better than a landing light'..
I'll get my coat.

Re: HGLW loco tweak
£45 each for the loco and MR603,is £90. A tenner for batteries, and other electronics.. So £25 for the build/paint. Seems a fair price? - I would expect it could have been put together in a couple of hours, if you cracked-on? There seem to be a number of EvilBay sellers who I think like building, an...
