Re: Copyright and music for videos

Food for thought.
I also use Kevin's music from time to time. If this happens to me I will now know what to do. Thanks for posting.

Re: Latest Developments on the Wychbold and Stoke Prior Railway

It's all coming together nicely. Can I just ask, do you use two cameras and edit the shots together or use one camera and reshoot the movement? If the latter, you have matched the speeds well. Rik Hi Rik, This was all shot using my iPhone as the only camera. It was all a little fraught as I had to ...

James' Splendid New Red Coaches

Since joining the Wychbold and Stoke Prior Railway loco fleet poor James has never had any suitable coaches to pull. So he was nearly always relegated to pulling goods trains. Recently two brand new shiny splendid red coaches arrived on the railway and now James' dreams have come true and he can pul...

Re: Wychbold and Stoke Prior Garden Railway Update

You have even detailed the ceiling in the tunnel. And included the little recesses for the staff to duck into if a train comes while they're in there! It's all looking great. It's got a real mainline feel - I hope we get to see Gordon rushing over that bridge with The Express sometime... All the be...

Re: Wychbold and Stoke Prior Garden Railway Update

Yesterday was the second birthday of my garden railway. 🎂

I started construction on 28th June 2020. It's reached the toddler stage. Lots of growing up still to do.

Thomas Runs Away

This was a lockdown project. The people who contributed and helped make this film never met. It was mostly filmed at Pine Tree Junction by the crew there who also acted as critical friends. It's based on a story by Christopher Awdry. I wrote the screenplay, directed it, starred in it and edited it a...

Re: The Last Days of the Sandwell Valley Railway

Hi Rik, I've still got all of the aluminium bridges and I managed to salvage most of the concrete viaduct sections with not too much damage. The embankment walls also have been reclaimed and are in storage. Unfortunately the tunnel mouths and low walls along with the rest of the trackbed had to be s...

The Last Days of the Sandwell Valley Railway

The photographs that make up this video were taken in January and February 2017. The railway had been abandoned over the winter months and then due to an impending house move the track was lifted. For every one of my garden railway videos I had always tidied up the garden, mowed the lawn, trimmed th...

Thomas and the Quarry Train

An 'explosive' adventure filmed on the Pine Tree Junction Railway. Thomas is pulling a train with a truck packed with high explosives - with a roof that has rusted through. He's working hard and sparks are flying from his funnel. What could possibly go wrong?
