Thank you Grant - yes the bird seed trains and woodyard consists keep the CHLR busy throughout the winter. Now near the top of my 'to-do ' list is to build a loading hopper at the Junction end of the line to load the hoppers and trucks with seed more prototypically rather than the big hand from the ...

I use these chargers for all my electric locos and they work very well: http://www.strikalite.co.uk/prodcat_type/10/ALL/0/Battery_Chargers.html Hope that's helpful Jim Yes - mi...

An inertia wagon would help slow all that down and then have the loco gently puff around the oval in the sunshine... An inertia wagon would be really good on this line. I have 4 of different types and I was about to list one for sale, sadly, all mine are 32mm gauge so won't be of any help. There is...

My Landrover, which I bought pre-owned at a toy and train fair, was made by Universal Hobbies. Several are currently on ebay but the prices seem to be high. Although not converted to...

Ok - here we have the chassis build - I've built a HGLW standard chassis before but knew it wouldn't be long enough for this project so after checking some dimensions with David, opted for the new Gordon chassis All very exciting when the box appeared through the post ./myff/2046356/IMG_1221.jpg And...
