Re: Rushton Bucyrus 10RB digger
I'd be very very surprised if anyone does, tbh. Langley do( did?) a 00 one and I seem to remember back in the days of my youth there was die-cast toy by Budgie or somebody, but it was only a toy and I've got no idea of scale, but I doubt it would be big enough for anything like 16mm.

Re: RWLR bogie flat wagons
That wagon looks good Tom, glad to help.
Actually, this thread inspired me to have a go a bogie wagon of my own a few weeks back. I did the bogies and then ......
it all kinda stalled!!

Re: Time to build a railway...but where?
We have a couple of 'wireless' cctv cameras set to watch our local hedgehogs feeding and fighting. Linked through our internal wireless LAN to an old very slow laptop thats no good for anything else and we can see in the morning whats happened during the night ( and potentially rescue any sick ones)...

Re: 'New' crane for the GWLR
Both very nice, Phil. I've always had a soft spot for the little grey Fergie and have a look for one from time to time with no success. My attraction stems from a plastic kit that I was given when I was about 4 or 5 years old and my dad put together for me. Needless to say it soon got broken, but I'...

Leaving Shimla later today on the 17:50 and so will be dark for most of the 4.5hr journey but it means we can catch the Kalka Mail to Delhi at about midnight and then...

Re: UK weather
We are there for two days, Sunday and Monday, just in case you are passing! It may have escaped your notice Peter, but very few people actually "just pass" your part of the world! :P  Seriously though, it sounds like a good event and I wish it was close enough to be just passing, hop...

Re: UK weather
I know the feeling. I've had a complete new station waiting to go out for months but there is never enough time between the rain, the snow and the gales. Looking at the forecast its a least a week on Sunday before we are due a day without rain, and I ain't holding my breathe about that either!
Re: India
Rik,
I believe you are off on your travels tomorrow, so just a quick note to wish you a safe and trouble free journey.
