Looks to be a busy line you have Allen!

Glad you enjoyed it Peter. Electric locos have their place espically for those of us with little time. However, they do need that diesel noise as they sound too quiet without them (personal preference of course). This loco will be a test set up of a sound module before I install it into my Friog 0-6...

Thank you, I will give them a go.

I like the white metal one's IP make, however, they don't sell them on their own (I have asked).

Brake shoes

I want to fit these to my brake vans.

Can anyone recommend a supplier please? For cosmetic use only.

Cheers,

Tom

Hi Danny, WD40 will just attract dirt so I would clean your running gear using white spirit and a clean paint brush and leave to dry and then use a 20w50 oil for the motion (classic car oil). I would never use water as it will rust steel. Cheers, Tom Thoroughly clean your loco, use WD40 to get the m...

So after a long wait the boiler and coal finally arrived from Riverdale (and no it was not made by Elves). Everything was perfectly packed and well organised with documentation and boiler certificate, very impressed. I am glad I waited for the exhaust/inlet tee's you have to use with their coal fire...

Where are you buying these locos from?

To be honest the box your Karen was sent in looks a bit ropey compared to what Riverdale use and that made it all in once piece from the Netherlands!

Having recently bought a SDS drill I would never not use one again for drilling into concrete. My arm no longer hurts when I drill walls!
