Its actually very easy to do to a standard loco, it just sounds a lot. As long as you have the parts, its a diddle and you will soon find out if anything is missing.

I would say, just have a go and pick up the bits as you go. :)

Very pleased with it, as yet its unsteamed, hoping to fit RC to it at some point, just have to work out how to make the linkage work as it looks like the servo holes are already in place along with a switch mount in the cab. It will be interesting to see a proper RC'd one when they come out in a few...

Does anyone know if this is proposed to have reversing gear or be a slip eccentric? If its a slip at £600 then its as much as a Roundhouse or Accucraft as a Bertie which is slip is £609 and a Ragleth which is full reverser gear and easily made full 2 channel RC is only £695. The price could well be ...

Gog Magog is indeed the hill just outside of Cambridge, its one that I cycle up now and again, great view but not easy to cycle up for me personally as its a bit long and steep.

Well, it looks like its most likely going to be the Ditton Meadow Light Railway. DMLR. That means I can have a Granchester station or any of the famous little places round here, lol :D
