A & B) While there isn't anything planned for those dates I can be there on the Friday or Saturday to open up the site. C) As long as you sign the running records sheet then you'll be able to run.

We have a right and a wrong way to run mainly to avoid head on collisions, as it stands with both lines using 1 the passing loops it's still possible however.

You've pretty much got it spot on Chris. There are enough passing loops to make running the wrong was during a running day possible, assuming no one is occupying a loop to service a loco that is.

There's no such thing as a silly question, only silly answers! I called it wrong line running as I was running the wrong way round the track to be different/ difficult.

Wrong Line Running

As Minnie required a test run last week I had the line to myself so I took the opportunity to do some wrong line running & film an on board lap and a bit. <object width="640" height="480"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/FQCYgPGa1ZY?version=3...

Thanks, I believe that Barry Milner made the whistle and I know he fitted it, I've no doubt if it was difficult he'd have made me know!

Bit late to the party I know but I was waiting until the most recent running day to take some pictures of my Millie's whistle arrangement. The valve is mounted on the water filler turret and the whistle is held in place by a bracket soldered onto the tank. She had a push type valve but as it had a t...

It was a busy week last week with Beddgelert on an away day on the Tuesday and Dylan running 'at home' on Wednesday afternoon plus a portable 7.25 track event on Saturday. Now that Beddgelert's regulator has been tweaked so that she can stop without having to put her in neutral and Dylan has had dra...

Swift 16 make cast brass couplings, they are perhaps a bit pricey but the quality of their castings is very good in my experience.

You really don't hang about Peter, less than a week to build a wagon from scratch is very impressive, especially when the wagon is that good and something special as well! 8)

Roundhouse Beddgelert

Earlier this week I purchased a new, lined R/C Beddgelert, while I was after something more generic I've always liked the look of the big Hunslet and when the opportunity to buy an unsteamed example with 3 NWNGR coaches I'd be a fool to turn it up. The NWNGR lives again! ;) https://farm1.staticflick...
