Beautiful work as always. I machined a pair of bronze eccentrics for an Accy Ruby some years back. Simple one-piece objects - you're braver than I to jig up and solder yours! I'm sure they'll come up to your usual standard.

The background really does set the scene beautifully. And unlike all too many smaller-scale layouts, your choices in ground cover blends very well with the background. :salute:

Unique bashes are my favourite. I think the anti-slip flooring suits the carriage quite well. Can't wait to see more progress. :salute:

I never run out of interesting details to look at on your models, Peter. :salute: Couldn't top that if I wanted to, but to contribute something: "Still-Unnamed Fictional Sugar Milling Company" livery. The roster is unusually well-maintained for a sugar mill, and crews expected to take prid...

Re: Time to build a railway...but where?

The US headlight seems fitting for a Baldwin.

Incidentally, I'll be modelling common sugar mill practice with a pair of tiny, ill-proportioned lamps for my Baldwin, representing junkyard-salvaged 1920s/30s automotive headlights.

All black suits the your Bi-Kettle quite well, too.

And shipped across the Atlantic. Hard to believe - I'd conject only made possible by some palm-greasing from the French..

Baldwin looks great! Don't see many without the searchlight-style headlight - nothing wrong with that, just a nice change.

A brave move building a lift section on a curve, although I can see you had little option elsewhere. One of these might help, if alignment becomes a problem. https://www.whitworths.com.au/media/catalog/product/3/9/3917_lockable_barrel_bolt.jpg?width=800&height=&canvas=800,&quality=80&am...

Forgot I had a swap meet to attend, so "tomorrow" turned into "the next day".. Once I can get some moss, shrubs and decrepit wagonry around it, I think the little Koppel will settle in nicely. IMG_9673.JPG IMG_9668.JPG IMG_9671.JPG IMG_9676.JPG Thanks for reading, Aaron

Big hideous riding cars behind small locos have always bothered me.
I love your solution. The steel frame visible between the wagons really blends in with a coat of black.

That's some good looking track - and proper point throw timbers! I might have to get some of those..

The timber finish looks quite nice too. Is it oil or varnish?

I like roll-on-roll-off carriers. I've described them in this thread elsewhere on the forum.
