Does creosote, new and old recipe react with LGB track? I'm told that it will melt the plastic.
Thanks

Solar powered light
I've been experimenting with using a solar powered garden light for my buildings. Here's a video of the results.

I'm afraid that line had a very short life indeed, I think it was taken up not long after the series was filmed, and John is not in the hobby at all now as the religion he took up prohibits him from having hobbies... That series, and in particular the EHLR is the main reason I'm into garden ...

16mm line at a preserved railway
I've been asked by my local railway preservation society on my thoughts of a 16mm line being established on the premises. Am I right in thinking that the Severn Valley has something similar? I know the Tallylyn has. Could any members who have experience of this please contact me with any thoughts? T...

GRS diesel bodies
Hi
I was looking at the GRS website, and it seems the 16mm box cab diesel loco body has been discontinued.
It looked a bit like this one

Is this the case?

My garden is on a slope and I hate laying concrete blocks. I built a railway in a play ground and mixed it all by hand again more blocks. To extend my line now I'll have to mix more cement and more blocks. I'm a weedy build and I can't face doing it....... When we dig deep and do what we need to, ...

Using Jigstones to make a mould query
I'm currently using Jigstones to make a viaduct. I've made one arch, and I'm wondering if I can use silicone sealant to make a mould of the arch to make the other 3 arches?
I know it would have to be greased/oiled to release it. Any thoughts?

Joining LGB/Piko to Peco track
Hi
When joining LGB/Piko to Peco track, is there a considerable change in rail profile?
Put another way, is there a 'thunk' like a bad joint?
Thanks
Brian

Crisis of faith
I'm having a bit of a crisis of faith at the moment. I've found myself looking at OO-9 more than 16mm/Ft.
Anybody else done/doing that?

Has there ever been published wiring diagrams/plans for an aero engine-electric loco in 16 or 10mm/Ft?
