Hi all, I recently acquired this Regner Else from facebook and it looks to be brand new which is obviously great news for me but its come with no instructions of any kind. I emailed Michael Ragg at Argyle and he said they've never imported one and thus have no documentation on it. has anyone had any...

Re: One for our Australian friends

Some excellent footage particularly the shots of the 400 class Garratt with ore train running from Broken hill. We chased the line from there back to Peterborough a few years back and it boggles the mind how little is out there!

Ill throw my hat in the ring. Its a shot from the first few years of the NEVR back in 2016 when the line was just a circle of track, its certainly come a long way since.

Here are some more photos from Tuesday including some recent and older projects 20201108_163111.jpg VR BV carriage. an unusual car for sure this one is a bit of a trial on how successful longer 3d printed cars are. while I'm happy with it the second one I'm building will certainly be a lot straighte...

Re: North East Victoria Railway

yeah its quite the slope I really didn't want to have to build it the way it is but much like a real railway the land dictated the alignment. The exit to the yard is on the to do list of things to fix its gotten taller near the top and sunk at the switch so the DH's pilot gets snagged on the frog, a...

Re: North East Victoria Railway

I realised its been quite a long time since I updated youtube so I cut together a couple of short clips of rollingstock from the weekend. Every engine thats RC controlled was running (though not all in the video) which is a first for the railway. This did bring about some other problems as a lot of ...

Hi Rik sorry thats not mine! Thats Alexander (User Melbournesparks) hes another G scaler that lives around two streets from me and also models 1/24th scale Australian prototype, what are the odds! There are a few early videos of the railway here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M0VV24uPtF8&ab_cha...

Re: North East Victoria Railway

Ive got a fair sized stock now of buildings from Tod but I havent really got anywhere to put them which is annoying maybe under the freshly planted banksia a little town will emerge. The main focus of late has been on building passenger cars which hopefully ill be able to post photos of in the next ...

Re: TVT - Mihirung, the Demon Duck

As soon as I saw the first photo of the power bogie I knew exactly what you were building. Absolutely incredible job on every aspect of this build, you've absolutely nailed the stocky look of the prototype. Couple of questions that'll help me with building my G8's. How did you get the wings on the n...

Re: North East Victoria Railway

Thanks Aaron. Love your line, Buildings and infrastructure is something I've been putting off far too long but you've absolutely nailed the Queensland tramway look. Being faced with a long weekend and some upcoming steamups I decided I'd put the foot down and start pushing some stuff out the door. L...

Re: North East Victoria Railway

Hi Mitch no plans for a H, Ive never been a big fan of the cabs on those locos. The other "big" locos I have chassies/parts for are the; Silverton A, WAGR S, TGR Q, TGR CC, Fyansford #2 and Fyansford #3 (the ASG) Years ago I made a big list of engines I was interested in that had commonly ...

Re: North East Victoria Railway

Thanks gents! Its very generous and humbling given the incredible work you all do. I certainly don't include as much detail as I'd like but I'm very conscious of large holes in the roster that prevent me from running full running sessions with all Australian stock so I've definitely made a choice to...

I've achieved almost nothing physical the last few months but theres definitely been a fair chunk of CAD work completed especially after seeing some of the fantastic models that have been coming out of this forum. 122576766_3453975871361352_7429933892369372172_n.jpg Fyansford D1 (EMD Standard G8 Bui...
