Autumn Photo Poll

Well I guess it's time for me to come out of hibernation and prove I'm still alive on here! Anyhow, entries as follows: St.Micheal " Train of the dead... for me it`s the junkyard... " http://i1057.photobucket.com/albums/t400/m1chael53/IMG_0382_zpse125ee0d.jpg ~~~~ philipy "The E &...

I'll still be running - Butterley runs all the year round, and the East Midlands Tuesday Geriatrics are hard to put off! Build-wise, I've got to finish the Works train (5 Binnie slate wagons, suitably adapted), build another two closed coaches, plus Flag Fluorspar's answer to the HST! Now that's so...

The double engines (bar DLG) never worked well on oil in the first place, from the stories I've been told on the Meld and Square it used to be ramp it up leaving port and hope for the best. DLG is that powerful it never needs to go out of pilot valve hence for not being driven hard at all.

Id be quite interested to see that on other narrow gauge locos that have to work pretty hard (like Linda and Blanche) and see what the differences are. Be also quite interesting to see in action on 16mm locos as well with a different fuel types.

It is a bit of fading James. Should it not have any on for the competition? The rules do say: - The use of Photoscape/Photoshop photo enhancemant levels and additions (such as additions of creative layers to age the photo for example) are not allowed - Basic cropping/alignment are allowed However, ...

Now that the deadlines for entries has passed I shall organise the poll over the next day or two.

Also Matt, what edits have you done to your entry as it looks like you've used Alpha fading to it?

Now that I'm back from playing Prototype HST stuff I can add my phots also. What laalratty hasn't mentioned is that myself and laurence703 ran the day before with a night time photo shoot also. Few photos from the day (which was rather similar weather). http://i1022.photobucket.com/albums/af347/Dolw...

ANLR Spring Steam up

Once again I made my way across the trecherous lands that are the Pennines and Lancashireshire to visit the ANLR on one of it's spring running sessions, which unveiled a few things. Some of you may remember this loco known as Snowdon... http://i1022.photobucket.com/albums/af347/DolwyddelanLightRail/...
