Re: The Potters Orchid Railway
Pond problem , not the water fall or basin, but the pipe from the pump up to the top, it is leaking badly, I have no idea how that could have happened, any how, we managed to thread a tube inside and proved it was the pipe.
Stay tuned

Re: The Potters Orchid Railway
Looks really good Dazza. Seems like it's been there ages. Like the big Cactus plant in the third photo.... :thumbright: That fella pushes out a nice flower, but one has to be quick, it only last hours. It is about to push out three more flowers soon. The native stingless bees like them as well. htt...

It will be some time in the years to come till Potters Junction receives its signalling, buildings, details and such like, so the Potter's Orchid Railway's chairperson of the board tidied up the station yard with weed matting and 20mm sunset stone to hold over. https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/50...

It's OK for you guys living just around the corner..... some of us need to catch the bus! That is a problem, till we can sort out a working TARDIS Having seen some of the things you've tackled Dazza, I would be at all surprised if we were to spot a prototype sitting in a corner of your workshop! An...

A wee bit of progress at the Potters Orchid Railway here in Queensland. The pottery shed awning is forming up. If you about the north side of Brisbane this summer and have the urge to run your 32mm rolling stock, email or phone the world wide headquarters of Llewellyn. https://live.staticflickr.com...

Some more soldering last night at the Llewellyn Loco works. More fittings and coal rails and a wee bit of clean up to come. The loco will steam in the third decade of the 21st century, if I keep my fingers crossed. https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/50699219623_438cf750a7_b.jpg https://live.static...

The planting is really filling out, sitting looking at a cold autumnal day here in the UK, you have to remind yourself that you guys are in the full throws of spring. Spring, now that is a novel concept for here. We slept in one morning and we must have missed spring , we are in heat wave condition...

MAM and her paint brush. Progress on the halt's awning. Gutters and down pipes to come, Pottery shed awning extension work has started. The step paths will have to wait till next year, however quotes for the work are underway at this time. https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/50666168111_f7af5a02fd_...

Re: Gauge 1 ‘project’
That does look like an impressive start. Looking forward to seeing how it develops. If I remember rightly, Dazza has drilled oiling points into the bearings on his live steam loco build which is described on this thread. There's quite a few posts to wade through but I think you'll find it referred ...

MAM and I have never had a garden railway before. It is nice the plants are doing what we hoped they would. 3rd August and 23 November. The distant signal would look nice installed for the pic but they will only be coming out for the bigger run events. https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/5018207279...

Yet another reference to one of the many things in Australia which are out to get you! With so many kicking, biting, stinging and infecting things in the country it is surprising anyone makes it into adulthood. Here in UK we have one venomous snake and a few poisonous mushrooms, which never bite ba...
