Re: Insurance

My household insurance covers my locos that are valued > £1500. The cover is for Loss through house fire or theft. It does not cover damage whilst in use. Lower value items are covered by the house insurance as long as you have them listed with their values.

Re: Wiring

Solder the wires together and then cover with heat shrink sleeving. If you want a neat in line join put the heat shrink sleeving on one wire before soldering and shrinking.

Re: small 16mm loco Boiler Certificates

Things havn't changed. The 3bar Ltr rule still applies. If you are concerned about liability join the 16mm assn. they will issue you with association sponsored public liability insurance certificate.

Spent many an hour on that footbridge in my youth watching the fish trains making their way to Sheffield and Manchester.

I Tend to Light Brunswick Green with Cream Panels for coaching stock and Halfords Grey Primer for goods wagons. Of course there is an exception - the trio of Perfect World Tallylyn coaches are varnished ( I couldn't bring myself to paint over that lovely mahogany wood).

Probably held by the manufacturer to cover all the items manufactured with the same specific boiler.

Ask for Graham on the Timpdon Lake Layout. If A Regner Vincent is running I will definitely be there rather than on a break.

I have used two thicknesses of mounting card between the boiler and gas tank on my Accucraft 0-4-0 Decauville as I was having to wait a long time to re-gas the loco. This did cut down the wait time.
