Looks good Rob, well done.

If I go down the 'plastic' road I think this would be my first purchase ;)

If we are going to be pandantic there it's actually a compound sliding mitre saw that I have ;)

The line will go around the other side of the garden:

I am halfway at the moment. In total, I should get over 30 metres of running.

RH service is excellent - send them an email explaining the problem and they will sort it out for you if none of the suggestions work.

I think if they released a 0-6-0 freelance diesel with R/C and a decent sound chip (check out chuffed2bits recent attempt) that would be a winner.

First off, cats make for rubbish navvies: /myff/tom_tom_go/IMG-20120707-00026.jpg (I think she just gets annoyed that I have opposable thumbs he he) Anyway, a recent meeting with the 'planning committee' over 'land' has called for a re-think of the line to avoid the lawn so unfortunately I have had ...

I still think they belong as siding scrap though ;)

Good video as always Chris.

Sounds great - well done.

Is it worth making one yourself though over a Summerlands chuffer as they are pretty cheap and easy to fit?

There is something about your line that has got me hooked on following its posts. I love the fact you have taken mostly stuff from a child's toy range and turned them into believable models.

You have my respect :)

Looking forward to more!

If you look at the L&B Lyd the dome looks big and shiny on that as well: http://www.lynton-rail.co.uk/files/images/100503/100502_Lyn_TrevorG.jpg Personally, I think Russel can carry it off I as it is a large loco, however, I found the dome too shiny on my SL so I painted it black: /myff/tom_tom_...

The poor weather and my delivery of materials that did not come as early as I would of liked this weekend has resulted in only little work on the RWLR: /myff/tom_tom_go/SANY1279.jpg /myff/tom_tom_go/SANY1280.jpg The two bushes were dug out so I could ge the shelf behind them (not an easy task!) whic...

I fitted the O-ring correctly this time, however, I am still having the same problem whether the loco is on a rolling road or track. I kept a close eye on the pressure gauge and it was under 40 psi so I don't believe this is due to high pressure. I have found though that I can overcome this issue by...

Silly me, I changed the wrong O-ring!

http://www.roundhouse-eng.com/ss06.htm

I changed the gland O-ring for a spindle O-ring and did not change the spindle O-ring at all which is the one that needs replacing.

RH again have kindly sent me what I need so I will fit and see what happens.

Fitted the O-ring and tested. It has helped, however, it still tries to jolt forward/backwards slightly when in 'gear'. I read your post again Keith and can confirm I am not notching it as the simplified Walschaetrs type valve gear is not suitable for this kind of driving. When I want to stop the lo...
