Nice one Graeme, they look really good.
Agree about the brass monkey temps, two bars on the radiator in the workshop today.

Re: Has radio control changed in the past 20 years?
Ah, it's coming back to me now. You are correct and that's why it doesn't matter because you are only mixing the control wire with the negative one.
Thanks for jogging my memory.

Re: Has radio control changed in the past 20 years?
I still run an old Sanwa transmitter in one of my boats. They were always the odd man out so far as receiver wiring is concerned. As my memory is a little hazy, I think if you plugged another brand servo into a Sanwa receiver it blew the servo, but if you plugged a Sanwa servo into another brand rec...

I really like the overgrown track work, though I hope no one lives in that grounded van! More nice shots, and I second BertieB about that station building, just love the exposed framework inside.

Like the sag in the propped open window. Hope you enjoy painting all that rusty and otherwise corrugated iron.

MIDDAY AT GRAY"S MILL It has been a wet summer, the tractor being the preferred power for bringing logs to the mill. The traction engine has been idle all summer. The mill loco will head off to return empty log bogies to Nayook as a new coup has been granted there for pine logs. 1.JPG With litt...

Great detailing Aaron, particularly like the depression in the centre of the coal load, as opposed to the full to the brim look.

Those front wheels look so typically timber tram with their tread width, I suppose exaggerated by their small diameter. So where's the hessian bag?

Hi Ted,
The injector is SOFT soldered together in one go, using the tiniest amount of solder. (actually too much in this case!). I silver solder most of my boat fittings as strength is generally a requirement.
My apologies to Aaron also.

Re: "Calloway", a Roundhouse Bundaberg Fowler Rebuild
Hi Ted, I'm guessing that any problems one might have making these small items, really comes down to soldering. To go with the injector above, cutting the various pieces of K&S tube should be fairly straight forward ( I use a jewellers piecing saw, an aquired taste! ) Filing the "U" sh...

Re: "Calloway", a Roundhouse Bundaberg Fowler Rebuild
Hi Aaron, Don't know if this is any help or what type of under cab injectors you need, but these are what I made to represent those on the NA's of Puffing Billy. Simple soldering job with various bits of K&S tube and brass turnings with hex's ground on. You could of course use brass nuts. Puffin...
