Evening chaps Using a blowtorch to reduce paint [original Mamod paint] off a loco for restoration. An acrid, metallic, smoking smell comes off it, penetrates my facemask and is quite disgusting. Yup. Never seen it happen myself pauly, but have wondered... Still. It's something to consider? I'm pleased though - for what the coaches are and how I can improve them cheaply, and compared to kits and rtrs, I think I've come out well. :) Shame aboutt he bogie coach but eh. Maybe it'll come up agai...

There's also a semi-matching bogie coach but that's already on £33.50. I'm disappointed but at this moment in time am absolutly pushed for cash [being unemployed helps little!] Still, I am grateful I have secured the matching five.
