Re: "Calloway", a Roundhouse Bundaberg Fowler Rebuild
Absolutely stunning Aaron best looking roundhouse fowler I've seen yet. Shame they weren't super popular really i think that with a bit of extra detail they come up a treat.

Re: Latest developments
The latest way ive managed to get around the stirations (ridges) is to give it a good sand with 120 and 240 grit then lie it on its side and give it half a dozen coats of the tamiya painter filler in the cans and sand flat. you can get quite an achievable finish. at the end of the day 3d printing is...

I must say I am less then impressed with this bridge. hard to believe any traffic is permitted at all over it given it has no beams or structure! DSC04767.JPG Likewise I recommend this home signal is removed asap to prevent injury or loss of track access due to the post collapsing DSC04768.JPG waiti...

Re: The Great Garden Railway Inspection Reports
Come next morning I found myself boarding the steam railcar along with numerous members of the ESET society. Steam being allowed to run on the mainline isn't an everyday occurrence and attendance reflected that with the membership! DSC04723.JPG With a screech of the brake blocks the railcar pulled u...

I believe in between visits to Mitches and the NEVR he was visiting other railways his reports just havent managed to escape the hills as of yet. Reception is terrible up in the Dandenongs and as soon as he makes it back to a nice hotel user "Cooltrain" will update us

Re: The Great Garden Railway Inspection Reports
Its universally known that when seeing someone in clean Hi-vis with a hardhat you best look busy but luckily for the crew of the Down Pass to Myrtleford this fella seemed to be looking for an Eltham South Electric tramway. He soon boarded for a slow trip over the mountain towards the Museum tramway ...

My favourite Station building photo. Obtained from an estate years and years ago for a long time it was the only infrastructure on the entire line. Interior lighting was my iPhone 3 with the torch on.

Re: North East Victoria Railway
Thank everyone its been quite nice for life to slow down enough for me to cram some time into G scale again. The inspector coming has been the push I've needed for a long time to actually get the railway to a point where its presentable. the Beyer Peacock is my own model and still missing a lot of d...

Re: North East Victoria Railway
Hi all its been a long time between updates and so a lot has changed not all of which will be covered in this update. The biggest change is due to the impending arrival of Mr Inspectre (yes hes still coming. hes been slowed slightly due to covid and a few detours to other local lines) the NEVR has g...

Re: Regner Else
Thanks everyone. I did and some research and as people have noted regner usually only does extremely limited numbers of models with little to no documentation unless its in German! I read the Argyle manual, Filled it with rainwater and managed to get a full boiler of rainwater into it, Filled it wit...

Regner Else
Hi all, I recently acquired this Regner Else from facebook and it looks to be brand new which is obviously great news for me but its come with no instructions of any kind. I emailed Michael Ragg at Argyle and he said they've never imported one and thus have no documentation on it. has anyone had any...

Some excellent footage particularly the shots of the 400 class Garratt with ore train running from Broken hill. We chased the line from there back to Peterborough a few years back and it boggles the mind how little is out there!

Re: DECEMBER 2020 GALLERY ENTRIES HERE
Ill throw my hat in the ring. Its a shot from the first few years of the NEVR back in 2016 when the line was just a circle of track, its certainly come a long way since.
