None of your posts in this thread make me understand the logic
and the intention of your first post.

Did the outcome please you or make you even more fed up of
people bidding ridiculously high?

I bid the full £700 in the last 15 seconds and won the item for £320. Last second bidding is a strategy that makes sense, but I still don't understand your previous statements. :) Anyway, you don't know if there is an auto bid which is the highest. If the one with the current highest bid at £280 ac...

Re: Archangel Vale of Rheidol 2-6-2 on ebay

Hi all there is an Archangel Vale of Rheidol 2-6-2 on ebay at the moment, I'm letting everyone know because I'm fed up with people bidding ridiculously high when there is nearly a week to go so hopefully this will encourage more people to bid so they don't stand a chance. I don't understand your lo...

Impressive and inspiring. :thumbright:

Really like the way you make plastic look like wood.
I must try this.

That locomotive was a kit? You should have taken pictures during the process and posted them! I enjoy seeing build threads. Oh well, congratulations on the new engine, it looks large and powerful. Thanks. Yes, the loco is kit built. Did take some photos and consider to write an article about it, bu...

Again my railway has been at the model railway show at
the Norwegian Railway Museum at Hamar.
Pretty much like last year, but all buildings from ØVJ this time,
and a much better solution for a steam-up area.

I took this shot at UHB on Sunday.
This shows the typical ball and chain lock and single safety chain.

Must take a closer look at those Slaters couplings. :)

Hard choices

This TED talk focus on the big decisions in life, but the principles are sometimes the same for choices
like which track gauge to choose, which couplings to use, which kit to build, which theme for the railway, etc, etc. :)

Not just the couplings, but also the height.  :?

Your railway, your choice. But why so focused on sticking to a specific prototype? Reading some of your old threads you seem to change your interest every now and then anyway. Why not make the Norway India Railway? One theme at each end. You can even make your railway pass through Ireland on the way...
