Don't forget that before the days of computer-controlled paint formulation, 'standard' colours could and did vary considerably. Add to that the patina and fading of age and use, and a GW grey van could very well end up looking much lighter. Hi all, I've got an IP MoD box van that needs minor repair....

IP Engineering have recently started stocking waterslide transfers for WDLR stock.
Whether this reflects future intentions remains to be seen.

This loco was originally built by Mike for me, in (I think) 2001/2, and is a model of the S&KLR 'Unique'. Mike used a Roundhouse chassis, and the air receiver is a seamless copper tube, with a very substantial girder stay threaded, screwed and silver soldered into the end plates for strength. Cy...
