Re: Widening back to backs

We all look fwd to updated videos now Rik.
So pleased it was easily sorted. If you have any loctite it would be worth adding a drop to lock the wheels you adjusted as the heated glue may break down over time (or just leave it until it does and fix it then :D ).

D.

Re: HGLW Empire Coach

Some more Empire coach pictures. This time on the Strathmore railway.
The leading coach in the lighter finish is my own Empire coach, the two rear coaches are Peter K's Empire coaches.
The remaining coach is a scratch build by Peter.

Re: HGLW Empire Coach

Here ya go! An Empire coach with a Darj, Ragleth and Deacuville in a working with swift16 goods wagons. There aren't too many Empire coaches out in the wild yet. I guess, as ever, a few have gone into the store waiting for the dark winter evenings. The one pictured was built by Peter K. up in deepes...

HGLW Chassis

Just a follow up to the HGLW chassis. As standard we supply a 2 cell AA battery holder, but if you want we can supply a 2 cell AAA battery holder in its place. Just let us know when you place an order.
We have both sizes in stock.

Colour choice

It doesn't matter Zak. It is easy to see from the outline colour which is which, many folk use black and red or red and black reversed. For ease use Black for cut and Red for engrave. If required you can have additional engraved lines of different depths denoted by a different colours. Just enclose ...

Drawing format

Hi Rik,

.dxf is easiest, but I can work with several file formats. But they need to be converted to .dxf format in the end.
Different colours denote different depths of cut.

Cutting

Hi Rik, (and everyone else)

HGLW do custom cutting of your artwork too if that helps.
Cost depends on complexity and material. Drop a mail to us with your ideas hglw@eagleassist.com

We cut kits for other manufacturers too. Let us know if we can help.

Another view from the show

Here we see an older version of the HGLW loco alongside the prototype for the new station fencing.
Fencing will be available as either vertical boards as shown, or what is sometimes described as 'Midland style' with 45degree slanting boards.

That was a bit harsh. You should have tried painting if first. It is amazing how paint can bring a model together.

Just a thought - but at the risk of causing him a major issue why don't you work out the basic dimensions and style you want and contact David at HGLW. I'm sure he could laser cut something albeit in mdf but if the overall look is right it should be ok... Not a major issue :) I'm happy to quote for...
