minium incline

I need to a minimum incline a roy wood janet would take with 6 or so binnie tippers (light load) , i want to make it quite steep for drama etc. im hoping 1 in 25?

Any thoughts?

it may be overkill but it is one of the first larger engines i really like rtr. i had thought of build a k1 one day. Still no money though :(

The paint finish wa not so great, So we have been having a repaint while the planting and work on the steamers is being done. The builders rubble and gravel is slowly disappearing now. in that case phillip it is so much easier it will be a doddle for you ( i used to do 009 ), i found my bench grinder to be more useful that a file this time round :)

any book by peter jones. always a good good read, the 2 main ones are practical garden railways and building small steam locomotives.

Other than that any book you can get your hands is always good

long time but he is the progress. got a first run without derailing all the rolling stock the other day. the slip points where working but not with the binne rolling stock i use a lot of(to light and wheels to small), but the normal homemade points are fine. i will take more(and better pictures soon...
