Coffee and tea for me, I like both.
But when it comes to coffee, the tastiest is always the one boiled in a pot, Turkish style.

I don't know anybody with a garden railway around here (most modellers seem to be involved in smaller scales for indoors).

45 mm vs. 32 mm track - what do you use?

Hi all, As a beginner in steam garden railroading, I would like some advice on track choice for a narrow gauge line. Should it be 32 mm or 45 mm? I should add that I don't care too much about exact scale looks or the locos and rolling stock being exactly like the prototypes. They should just be nice...

The water glass is supplied as part of the coal fired boiler kit from Riverdale so it is not available separately although there is no harm in asking them I guess. The water gauge itself screws onto the boiler itself and these are sealed using O-rings. Then the order of fitment for the glass goes O...

Another very nice loco, congratulations!

Did you consider replacing the boiler with a centre flue type in one of your modified Mamods?

Hello, very interesting to see the bigger locos disassembled. What packing material have you installed in the piston groove, is it graphite yarn? Have you tried Teflon tape as packing? I did with very good results on several small marine engines, both oscillating and fixed cylinder. But I can't real...
