The Salam and Locobox engines did not have valve gear, they have slip eccentrics, and mamod like cylinders.

Spotted a Darj Garratt on "Indian Hill" at Llanfair last weekend. I can´t tell whether it´s a Locobox or another type (Peter Angus ...). The missing switches on the rear seem to argue against Locobox, unless there was a manual version I don´t know about. https://farm4.staticflickr.com/386...

I've just received the roller track gauges from C&L Finescale, and to my disgust they will NOT work with Code 215 rail.  :cussing: The little grooves are WAY too narrow to fit over the head of the rail. No mention at all what size rail these are to be used on. What a waste of time and money... ...
