Re: GRS Hunslet loco kit with rtr chassis
May I ask, does the cab or any other of the parts have any warps at all? I bought one of these before (a Pecket), new in the box but secondhand and it was so badly warped I have to build my own body work for it. As you can understand I am somewhat wary of GRS body kits now. My profile picture is the...

Re: Commercial Printing
If your things are to be used outside then I would strongly suggest ABS, no idea how it will fair with rain, then ice and repeat as I have never tried ABS or outside items. Trevor Thompson on here is the ABS man, he swears by it and I just swear at it.

Re: Commercial Printing
I am in the process of putting together a scanning setup myself. Hopefully it should become ready over the coming weekend. I have no idea how good or bad it will be, but I think it's the same setup as what Dean uses. I will let people on here know how it goes in another thread once I get it all work...

Such a good price, I am surprised this is still here. I don't have the money, but if I did, it would already be gone.

Re: eBay 'Cain Howley' structures for sale
I would bid up to around £500 for that lot, but I am not interested, but no doubt someone else will have similar thoughts.
Let me rephrase that, if I had money I would expect that lot to go for that sort of money, if I really wanted it.

Re: STL file for loco lamp?
Thanks Steve I searched for loco lamp, train lamp, railway loco lamp but not railway lamp. It did throw up one for 4mm scale but it wouldn't have scaled up successfully. Rik I have found it much better to use a Google search on the site directly, so for example.... site:thingiverse.com "lamp 16mm" ...

Yes absolutely it would work and 332 code is the most common so, no, no problems

Re: Is 45mm Gauge the same as G Gauge
Ni and welcome to the forum. Deepening on the track, 45mm is indeed G gauge as far as the rail is concerned and most of the "standard" offerings fit together, like LGB, Peko, Piko, Accucraft, Aristocraft and many other well known brands too, all of these are Code 332 track and are interchangeable. A...

Re: Micron RC - Deltang Rx replacement MR603a
Just to confirm, you can get the new firmware loaded onto any Deltang TX2 unit, even the old ones and they will then work as expected.

Re: Micron RC - Deltang Rx replacement MR603a
Just a quick word of advice to anyone with an old transmitter unit. If your TX2 unit is running prior to v205 (don't ask me how to check as I have no idea) then you will be unlikely to bind your tx to these RX's, due to a previous issue on the old firmware of the TX2. Anything in the last 3-4 years...
