It is indeed 45mm, and will be track powered as he has quite a bit of that kind of stuff! Its all built on Aristocraft track. Its a mix of European and USA style, but the difference is not noticable. Day 2: I like to Move it, Move it! Not as much done as planned, but there has been a difference! The...

Building the Fairfield Railway
I have been asked to help build a garden railway, and this thread will chronicle the construction. The 'days' at the beginning of each post are the days I have spent working on the railway. Although this is day 1, a couple of other days work may (I cant remember, I am editing this on day 24ish) have...

They have been removed now. Should have some new ones made by PTLRfest if I find the time between gardening, decorating and getting Lady A into a state where she will run. We think (but not sure) the Anna nameplates were originally on PTLRcecil's newest loco, the Gussie, as its built on a Beck Anna ...

That sounds like a nice railway, ummm 10 foot radius curves  Its being built with Aristocraft pre-curved rail. The idea is, that people with great big huge massive ginormous electric powered locos can run no bother. Or very big live steam!?! He has a friend somewhere in the south (London-ish I...

Its now 2moro! and here are the pics. The first one shows a box of bits. She arrived in carrier bags, so in an effort to keep all the parts she was moved into the box. The boiler is missing from this shot as it was in the workshop having work done! http://i294.photobucket.com/albums/mm92/bungle80a/1...

I shall post some 2moro. It is currently in pieces but with a bit of luck and some grafting it should be ready to steam test by Sunday. I've already started to clean up a few parts. The underside of the boiler has been cleaned down to bare metal and the pipework for the pressure gauge has been made ...
