I gather that with most probes, you can decide to probe once or twice. Mine is set to single probe, as that seems to provide sufficient accuracy for excellent adhesion, and good layer finish

Nothing wrong with the Jyers firmware. I use a similar build, just customised a little to better suit my hybrid machine. 25 probe points take about 75 seconds to probe, and then the machine starts automatically. It's just the Z height that needs recalibration. If the bed trolley is bent, then replace it, but the glass plate will tend to flatten out the build plate to within the tolerance required by the probe and firmware on the printer to correct. Effectively you have created a pump, driven by the motion of the loco. The Fairly Fairlie is coming along. I laser cut a chassis out of wood to check the fit prior to milling it out of aluminium. Wheel size might need to be increased, but they do need to be a little bit undersized to give more room for the bogie to swing.

Herewith the 4 options now available - plus of course, the ability to scale to any size.

I've added a version with underbody support, plus a couple to fit existing LGB stock.

Not an issue with a mix of sizes. I've also created a couple of alternative designs for LGB and other manufacturers, as easy replacements or swap outs.

Nice work! Can I suggest you get the magnets such that they just protrude, and make full contact. That will significantly improve the holding force. It's probably easier to fit all North magnets using superglue first, and then do the South magnet once the North magnet glue has dried. Closing up the ...
