Re: Brandbright for sale
On the home page of Brandbright... 'Brandbright has a new owner! Unfortunately, he has to place it in store for a while until he can get it up and running. Consequently, we have removed all items for sale, until they are available again. Andrew would thank you for your custom and the many friendship...

Wanted: Brandbright Vacuum Pipes
Guys, I'm looking for a few pairs of Brandbright Vacuum Pipes; The kinked type. Brandbright currently don't have them in stock and I have been told that they will be restocking them once they have more of the pipe piece. I have a few coaches I am close to completing but need some of these vac pipes ...

Glass glazing for rolling stock kits
Hi guys, I’ve purchased a Phil Sharples Padarn brake van kit. The kit is really nice but one thing it doesn’t come with is glazing for the windows. When I have purchased kits from brandbright or IP engineering in the past they have been supplied with glass to glaze the windows with. I don’t need a l...

Those of you in the garden railway 16mm scale world may know that the talisman range of castings was discontinued a while ago, however it has been brought back my Cathy McEwan over at Model Earth. https://cathyscastings.co.uk I have no affiliate with them, just a customer who is very pleased to see ...

Re: 5" gauge railcar, PZ201
Got any footage of it in action please? Not too much. I have a short clip of it running right through the wooden mockup body I made to check the dimensions. That one was reduced to matchstick size quickly. Taigatrommel is now finished so a proper "baptism" was necessary. The Jet of water ...

Think this person as any chance of selling this. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/154014524224?ul_noapp=true E9CE7505-DEDE-4AC1-8DFE-F4C37ACBD011.jpeg Think they may have put the decimal point in the wrong place... This wagon has been on Ebay for years, literally. I think at one point it used to b...

Re: 5" gauge
My father has a 3 1/2" Penrhyn Charles and L&B Yeo, but I have been working on some 1:5th scale rolling stock; 3 slate wagons and FR Sentry brake van. Slate trucks are nearing completion so I'll be making a proper start on the Sentry van soon. Looking for to seeing more of your fleet! Cheer...

Re: 5" gauge 0-6-0 'Sweet Pea'
Tom,
Not sure if you’re aware or not, but I discovered not too long ago PTFE in liquid form that you paint onto threads rather that using the tape which is a faff most of the time; it’s saved me a lot of time and it’s wonderful stuff!
Cheers

Re: 5" gauge 0-6-0 'Sweet Pea'
Looking great, Tom
Also following your build as I help run my father’s 3 1/2” Penrhyn ‘Charles’ and L&B ‘Yeo’, so it’s nice to see some large scale on this forum.
Cheers

Re: Applying custom lettering?
I prefer rub-down transfers over waterslide any day, but they are getting harder to find. However, I've just had great service and product from these people when I bought these: https://www.trainshop.co.uk/spares/16471-stencil-block-roman-white-dt-724771007524.html They stock loads of other fonts a...

Here's a supplier of Vinyl lettering in white that I'm going to try. Coincidently I'm looking to 'privatise' a wagon and had been pondering the same options as you before I saw your post!

Ffestiniog Brake Van Drawings
Hello all, I recently acquired a 3.5" gauge wagon which I have stripped down and intend on building a brake van based on one of the Ffestiniog prototypes, in particular Double balcony No 7 or the Sentry van no 3. I wondered if anyone has any drawings of these, either 7mm or 16mm scale, or any o...

IP Engineering
Hello,
I've tried to get in contact with Ivan at IP Engineering with a few emails regarding some items that are listed currently as out of stock on his website, however I've not heard anything back from him for some time. Does anyone have some better details to contact him?
Thanks

I've been on the SSP website before to see if they do a slo mo to fit a roundhouse Russell but they don't seem to offer one. What model are you using and are you having to make any modifications,Tom?
