Re: Excellent service from Garend Railway Specialists (GRS)

The massive kink in your BEFORE photo is amazing, how did any locos get through that without derailing!

Re: New beginnings of a small railway

I just caught up with this one and can see now you have plans to branch out!

Roofing felt will work but I have also used weed control landscaping fabric which is cheaper and easier to work with.

AnyRail is great for planning

Re: W&LLR Brake Van (Lineside Hut kit)

Thanks for the progress report Paul.

You have confirmed that the chassis kit would not be required if I were to purchase one of these.

Re: W&LLR Brake Van (Linside Hut kit)

Hi Paul and welcome. I have not made a kit for years but after Peter Butler mentioned he bought one of Lineside Hut's kits I had a look and there stuff looked good on their website although I am disappointed now that you have had issues as these kits are not cheap and are not supplied with axle boxe...

I think I can say for most British people we moan when waiting for a train (as they are normally late)...

Re: Battle of Britain flight

You have not understood the fact I used the term 'Nazi' instead of 'German'.

They are two very different people...

The Nazi's wanted to annihilate us, we don't care about their sacrifice to control the globe!

Re: Figures

Interesting how they don't post images of the 3D printed models only the 3D generated images...

If they were that flawless I would buy one right now!

That's great Jim that post, maybe that could be the character references for an adult version of Thomas & his messed up friends (providing the producers can afford the licence fees).
