I like this a lot, I've always had a soft spot for micro-layouts and shunting puzzles. Belfield Quay being a perfect example.
Have you given any thought to what purpose the sidings would serve? Perhaps simply a small goods yard or servicing a mill or some other facility?

I value the contribution of business owners on this forum. I find it useful to have direct access to their knowledge. I expect it would only damage the forum if those individuals found it unpleasant to be here because they are being hounded by people who want more from them than they are prepared to...

That sounds like a good idea, and thinking about it, when you try to turn the dial o...

Idea: Speed limiting brake van
I've discovered I have an unplanned gradient on my line. This causes issues with running as both of my locos are manual. They either come to a stop on the incline or they run away on the level sections. At some point I expect I will have to lift the track in the problem section and try and get it mo...

Or if you're a cheapskate, but have patience, you could also use Trimline for a 'simpler' lining job. Also good for seeing what colours go with the maroon! This describes me quite well, thanks for the tip! I guess it's the other locos in my collection that gave you the idea I have a tight budget fo...

Hello everyone, I have also just got my Accucraft Leader (in Maroon) and steamed it this weekend. I've made a little video and uploaded it to Youtube here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U6bae-90OpE My only other engine is a Mamod so this is a world of difference for me. The gas burner on my Mamod w...
